Students who are competing and now more secure about their forms, weapons, breaking, and sparing. Training will continue throughout the week to polish their techniques and focus.
We thank Mrs. Alegre for bringing in cookies and boosting our students!

Competition training: 11:30am-1:30pm
Students chosen by our Grandmaster had their first day of training to figure out their requirements out of the four divisions: form, sparring, weapons, breaking. We wish them good luck for their big day, Nov 3rd!
We thank Mrs.Beard for bringing refreshments and recharging our students!
This week we had three power breaks ranging from 3-5 stacked thick boards for our Deputy and Advanced Red Belts! It is a rite of passage for those moving on from Advanced Red to Deputy or from Deputy to a Dan.
We congratulate Jayvien, Alec, and Arianna on their success!
We congratulate everyone on receiving their new belts and encourage them to work harder for their next belt.
Belts are metaphorical goals to look forward to reaching. It is always more about the goal and the lessons learned along the way; rather than the prize itself (medals, belts, places). May you continue to learn and grow!
We would like to congratulate all of our higher belt teens and adults who tested. We acknowledge your perseverance and hope you strive to become Instructors and Masters one day.
For our beginning young adults and adults, we wish you congratulations and good luck on your future journey into the martial arts. Keep working hard to obtain your goals in and out of the Do-Jang!
We would like to congratulate students for their testing today! They did an amazing job by trying their best and having excellent yelling which surprised KwanJangNim and the Masters. Especially from the little tigers and dragons who are aspiring to be black belts.
Special congratulations to our Deputy black belt testing and black belt testing! They did amazing, especially with a variation of weapons.
The Black Belts demonstration blew away the crowd with their Gangnam Style Nunchaks, Street Fight scenario, Sword Kum Sul Sparring, and Breaking Techniques! Thank you for your inspiration to our students and their families: Jayden, Connor, Linda, Juan, Christian, Jeffrey!
We look forward to the higher belts and adults testing! Good luck!
Testing is tomorrow and Friday! We wish you good luck and would like to remind those testing to dress in their uniform (not T-shirts) as this is a formal occasion. Also there will be no classes during testing days. Try your best!
***Six of our representative black belts and our Master have a small treat prepared for the parents and students during both testings on Thursday. Hope you able to see what they have in store.
Starting Nov 1st, we will be going back to wearing uniforms instead of USMA T-Shirts, since the winter months are here. We ask that all students have their patches sewn and in the proper areas. After all, our uniforms not only represent ourselves but the schools that we come from. Let’s make a good impression!
Our upcoming competition, where the KO AM MU DO family schools come together to compete, will be on Saturday Nov 3rd in Ft.Myers at Dunbar High School. KwanJangNim has already mentioned word to possible competing students.
There will be a training session that will be announced in the coming days after testing.
If you are competing we wish you the best of luck.
Remember, it does not depend on what medal you earn but the life experience you obtain from it.
The fact that you are competing means you are already a winner for putting your heart and mind into it.
