We would like to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!
See you back on Monday or sometime next week!
Just a reminder, we will be closed tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in observance of the Thanksgiving weekend!
We hope you enjoy all the wonderful company and food this holiday has to offer! But above food, to always be thankful for what you have and not take anyone or anything for granted!
We look forward to seeing you back in December to work off the extra weight until the holidays come around! May you have a delicious feast whether it is meat or vegetarian!
We wish Carla a Happy 14th Birthday! A USMA present of a dogtag (with a special message) was given to her today on behalf of the school. She is one of our most dedicated students who gives detail in all she commits to.
We also send a Special Thank You to The Rivera Family for the delicious sweet boost the children received! Each student was given a beautiful sprinkled cupcake after class, getting their appetites ready for the holidays!
If anyone would like to arrange a birthday surprise for their child, please make sure to pass by Mrs.Chung’s office beforehand to let us know. We will be happy to celebrate their special day!
Master Kathleen was presented with an Honorary Award for her support of U.S. Martial Arts from the President of Kukkiwon!
We would like to congratulate her and wish her a safe return back to Boston. Hopefully she will be back with us soon sometime in 2014.
All of us from U.S. Martial Arts will miss her and hope she migrates back to warmer weather soon.
Master Kathleen Duffy has Come to Our School from Boston on her Thanksgiving Break!
She Worked Out the 5:30pm Class, Helped with the 6:30pm Class, and Trained in the 7:30pm!
Our Grandmaster, Masters, Instructors, and Students were happy to have her Today and Celebrated her Return with some of Mrs.Chung’s Delicious Cooking. We Hoped she can Stay Longer, however she is Leaving Tomorrow. So if you have not seen her yet, Feel Free to Drop by Tomorrow after the 6:30pm Class for a Last Greet.

As the days go by, we will be sending out constant reminders on this page. But here is a sneak peek.
Just a reminder to everyone, we will be closed for the Thanksgiving Break on Thursday (Nov 28th), Friday (Nov 29th), Saturday (Nov 30th), and Sunday (Dec 1st). All Regular Classes and Special Training will be Cancelled during these dates.
We hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving Holiday!
The students did great over the weekend, but have to polish the edges of their techniques. We look forward to seeing them back in December for the last training before the big day of testing!
Today at Tradewinds Middle School, three of our students [Garen Kalender (2nd Dan, 2nd Gup), Gevorg Mnatsakanyan (1st Dan Deputy 3rd), and Kyle Kennedy (Brown Advanced)] impressed their classmates in their Multicultural Event at School. These students were representing Korea and captivating everyone’s attention with their combination kicking and surprised the audience with their showcases of double metal nunchak techniques. Two of them have never even reached this part of the curriculum yet and did it amazingly.
Our Master Maria Zavalakos was in the audience and was invited by them to come and watch. She is very proud of these three students and the confidence it took for them to create their routine from scratch without any outside help including her own. Honestly, she was not sure what to expect and she loved it.
We look forward to seeing the progression of these three students not only in class but in their lives as well. If they keep up their hard work, they can achieve any goal they set their mind to.
